Technology Conferences

Infocomm 2010 and ISTE 2010
While Infocomm may be geared more toward business and ISTE towards education both conferences introduce the latest and, sometimes, greatest new technologies to the world. Both conferences also have hundreds of seminars. I wish more school districts could afford to send their employees to these conferences. For most the cost of travel and the conferences fees ($250 +) make them inaccessible to most.

  1. MassCue also gives conferences. The technology coordinator for the Barnstable School District highly recommends this organization for educators. The MassCUE and M.A.S.S. Annual Technology Conference is being held on October 27 & 28, 2019 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. The theme is "Today's Global Learners = Tomorrow's Global Leaders." Many workshops and seminars. Hopefully school districts can start digging into their budgets for these conferences because they are extremely valuable.

  2. Lynne and I have attended this conference for the past few years. Unfortunately, last year we had to pay for it ourselves. Great conference I don't mind! The only problem we have it that we leave withal these great technology ideas only to get back to work and have them squashed due to lack of funds. ugh
